The brand new DUEL
SYSTEM automatic gear box provides unmatched performance. Sealed in
an oil bath, the gears require no maintenance whatsoever. The new multiple
disk drag in stainless steel and PX30 graphite fabric
with double adjustment ensures maximum sensitivity and accuracy. The
unique, simple and immediate spool change system allows line to be
changed easily and quickly. The light alloy and stainless steel
construction, one-piece frame and its assembly with delrin packing ensures
corrosion resistance. |

HANDLE
The simple and quick assembling of the handle may be done by hand
and without the use of tools.

DRAG LEVER:
MAIN ADJUSTMENT
Thanks to the wide range of positions the
main adjustment guarantees sensitivity and accuracy. A stop pin
prevents the spool being accidentally released and the line
unwinding. |

"DUEL
SYSTEM" AUTOMATIC GEAR BOX
2 speeds with automatic and instantaneous transmission.
By simply reversing the direction of the handle, a different power ratio
is engaged and therefore a different recovery speed.
Clockwise, the handle gives a rapid recovery; anti-clockwise, the recovery
is slow but powerful.
The mechanism is completely silent and sealed in an oil-bath.
In every position the spool is always firm, without the play and the
"returns" typical of other systems.

Each model is characterized by a
serial number which ensures complete
service and warranty.
For every request for assistance and warranty this code must be used.

ON-OFF CLICK
This command connects the clicker or alarm. When the clicker is disconnected the
reel is completely silent. |

PRESET
DRAG
The pre-setting of the drag defines the work range of the drag itself: +
for high loads, - for low loads field. Having positioned the drag lever on
"free", by moving the "preset drag" the "free
spool" position can be easily found; the point just before "free"
has to correspond to a little pressure on the drag, just enough to avoid
problems of the line unwinding. In the strike position the drag setting
should be set to slip at about 30% of the line’s breaking strength. The
preset drag should always be used with the lever in "free"
position. |

SPOOL
CHANGE
By simply substituting the spool a line change is possible. To
remove the old spool and insert the new one, just remove the cover
plate
which is locked in place by 4 screws. "Spare spools"
are available for all models. |

SPARE
SPOOLS
The spool includes drag rings and springs; by changing the number of
springs, you get drags to suit different lines. Then for each reel
model it’s possible to have spare spools with drags set on medium,
light and heavy loads. |

NEW
MULTIPLE DISK DRAG
The new drag assembly with 4 larger disks is protected by a
"cassette". The new "PX30 graphite" fabric
guarantees uniformity of performance under extreme heat too. |
